This was told at a briefing on July 25 by Nikolai Solskyy, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food.

According to him, the remnants of last year's harvest, if they are exported, will bring the economy of Ukraine about $ 10 billion, and the implementation of the new crop for export - another $ 20 billion, so the unblocking of Odessa sea ports is important.

"When we talk about the agricultural industry, the amount of 10 billion dollars worth of residues, still export the new harvest - we will get 20 billion dollars. This is the amount Ukraine will get to function, this money will not only get farmers, peasants will get rent. Agrarians need this money in order to sow the next year",  Mykola Solskyy said.

The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food added that the lack of food is possible only in one case: if the farmers will have neither money nor arguments to sow in the future. However, this problem is solved by the unblocking of sea ports.
