Over the past week, three more agricultural producers from Poltava, Lviv and Volyn regions joined the government's "Work" program to create or develop horticulture, berry farming and viticulture. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine signed 25 orders on grants for a total of UAH 109.448 million.

Agrarians from 11 regions of Ukraine (Odessa, Poltava, Ivano-Frankovsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Volyn, Chernovtsy, Transcarpathian, Cherkasy, Rivne, Khmelnytsky) will grow berries and apple and pear orchards on their farms. Land areas range from 1.34 to 25 hectares. The total area is 346.85 hectares. The amounts of grants depending on the area are from 360 thousand UAH to 10 million UAH per recipient.

As of September 9, 2022 the Ministry of Agrarian Policy had received 79 applications from Sberbank, of which 25 were approved, 28 were rejected, 8 projects are under processing and 18 were sent for revision of documents.

Recall that the main condition for the participants of the program is to create jobs in accordance with the terms of the Order. In addition, the program provides for co-financing: the participant provides 30% of own funds and the state — 70%. These funds can pay for any expenses related to the agreed planting project.
