The holding invested about UAH 5 million in uninterrupted energy supply.
According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors Serhiy Kasyanov, uninterrupted work in difficult wartime became possible thanks to a clear plan for energy and resource independence.
«The stakes in our business are high, because we deal with animals — pigs and piglets, and they require special conditions of keeping, in particular, a temperature regime. This year, we provided an autonomous power supply, which allows the pig complex to work even in the absence of electricity for a month,» he said.
According to him, the agricultural group completely abandoned heating with natural gas eight years ago in favor of fuel pellets of its own production.
Kasyanov said that they also took care of providing electricity to the critical infrastructure of the village, where the livestock facilities are located.
«It is about providing an alternative energy supply to the water supply. For its power supply, we installed a powerful diesel generator at the pumping station, which allows all residents of the village, including many of our employees, to have water even during blackouts,» he said.
In addition to ensuring uninterrupted power supply, KSG Agro has created a 10-day supply of water and a six-month supply of raw materials and premixes for the operation of the group's feed mill.
«KSG Agro» is a vertically integrated company operating in almost all segments of the agricultural market, including production, storage, processing and sale of agricultural products.
