"Designing requires 2-3 months, so agricultural producers have actively started applying since October-November. Applications for 20 hectares, for 70 million UAH have been confirmed. At the expense of these greenhouses will be created about 250 jobs. Under this program we have the possibility to finance projects for several hundreds of greenhouses", Taras Vysotskiy commented.
According to him, due to the lack of electricity there is no way to accelerate the growth of production, so it occurs naturally. It affects the volume of grown fruit and vegetables, which reduces the amount of supply on the market, but there is no deficit. As a result, greenhouse businesses are on the verge of profitability.
"However, there is an expectation that from the spring there will be a recovery," stressed the First Deputy Minister.
The Cabinet reminded that because of the war 40% of greenhouses in Ukraine have stopped their work, while others continue to work, but with less output.
