As a consequence, food prices are rising and the overall food crisis is worsening.
«Ukraine, together with international partners, has made every effort to expand new logistical routes, including the launch of a grain corridor. Thanks to this we have remained a guarantor of food security of the world. And even in such difficult conditions our state has been able to export more than 40 million tons of grain, oilseeds and oil products to provide food for hundreds of millions of people around the world since the beginning of the war. Ukraine, no matter what, retained its position as a top-5 world agricultural exporter,» he stressed.
