Dr. Megan Niederwerder, deputy director of the Swine Health Information Center in Iowa, has received a 4-year grant from the US federal government to study the susceptibility of soybean feed ingredients to ASF infection.

An outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) was recorded in the village of Orlovschina, Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region. Pig producers in Poland have started to feel more optimistic since no new African swine fever (ASF) outbreaks have been reported at pig farms in the country since 14 July 2022. At the peak of the ASF epidemic, the country registered 30 to 40 outbreaks per month.
