U.S. Pork Powerhouses — Jim Long

Edsel* is a subsidiary brand and an independent division of Ford Motor Company, which in 1958-1960 model years unsuccessfully tried to occupy the niche of "medium" cars in the North American market. The launch of Edsel brand is one of the largest failures in the history of automotive industry, considered one of the classic examples of marketing error. In the United States, the word has become nominal and is clearly associated with a complete failure.
