SE " Fermy Danam" is a farm with 100-percent of Danish investments. It is situated in the village Novosilky, Kagarlyk district, Kiev region. The enterprise started its development in 1998. The same year Danish investors registered a representative office of ABC Hansen A / S in Ukraine, and they also made a complete reconstruction of the first fattening unit of six rented the following year.
Today, SE " Fermy Danam" is one of the best pig farms in Ukraine. The company produces 20 thousand commercial pigs a year.
The first batch of pigs of Danish genetics were delivered in early 2000 and the genetic is constantly renewed by direct supplies of pigs from Denmark.
The feedstuff is produced by the feed mill owed by the company. Grain seeds are grown by the enterprise on the rented land (250 acrs rent) and partly purchased from farmers.
SE " Fermy Danam" initiated the creation and founding of the Association of Pig Producers of Ukraine.
The plans for future are to start developing milk production.
