The widespread incidence of powdery mildew, Septoria, brown leaf rust, dark brown, reticular spot, root rot, helminthosporiosis, focal rhynchosporiosis, pyrenophorosis and other diseases has been detected in grain crops.

This is stated in the weekly report of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection on the phytosanitary condition of crops.

These diseases affected 2-10% of plants, and in some places in the farms of Transcarpathian, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa regions from 12 to 20% of plants (Septoria, Pyrenophorosis, Helminthosporium).

In the Zakarpattia region, the development of red-brown spotting continues in oat crops, affecting up to 4% of plants.

Developed highly productive winter crops (in the phase of flag leaf appearance - the beginning of earing) and spring spiked crops (heading) should be treated for diseases with authorized fungicides of the appropriate spectrum of action, the effectiveness of which is higher in the morning and evening treatments.
