Program:

The Profitable Pig Congress returns in a new format after a pause due to the beginning of the full-scale invasion of russia. This year's event will bring together producers and leading experts to discuss the most pressing issues: prospects for pig production in Ukraine and government donor support programs, energy independence in the agricultural sector, the market for feed raw materials in 2023-2024, trends in the construction and equipment of pig farms, approaches to managing the pig business. The CPS participants will take part in five discussion panels on the specific topics.

In addition to interactive presentations, veterinary medicine specialists from pig farms will be able to watch training videos on best biosecurity practices from the specialists of the farms participating in this project, as well as discuss the issue of vaccinating pigs against ASF with leading international and domestic experts.

The energy crisis is one of the biggest challenges facing livestock farming today. Enterprises are already starting to receive notifications about being included in the queue for power outages. Whether it is worth developing the production of biomethane and bioethanol, how to prepare for the difficult autumn-winter period, what alternative energy sources are currently in trend and economically feasible, you will learn from the experts of the panel "Energy Independence in the Agricultural Sector".

The CPPP is waiting for those who already have considerable experience or are just starting to work in the industry, specialists from farms dealing with pig management, feeding and health issues, and those considering starting a pig business, specialists from scientific institutions of government agencies, financial institutions and commercial companies that are partners of pig farms.

From year to year, the CPPP has been a landmark event in the industry that brings together the maximum number of stakeholders. The event is held under the auspices of the member companies of the Pig Producers of Ukraine Association, which, despite the challenges of wartime, continue to provide about 60% of industrial pork.

The International Congress "Profitable Pig Production" is the main event of the industry, a platform for frank discussion between producers, processors and retailers, leading Ukrainian and foreign experts, industry specialists and government officials.
