Doing the pig-breeding business since 2013 Land Bank — 31.5 hectares

ECO MIT focuses on the production of commercial and breeding piglets. At the present moment there are 3,221 sows, the piglet production reaches 80-90 thousand per year. There are 4 thousand finishers as well. The first pigs were bought in early December 2014 after partial reconstruction of the Soviet farm.

The farm cooperates with large enterprises, (buy 500-600 piglets), and with small ones, that buy batshes of 20-50 heads.

Pig units of the household are built according to the European project, equipment is also from the EU. The method of natural ventilation is used on some farms: the channels get under the ground, cooling the incoming air.

They have their own crematorium, considering the problem of utilization of products of animal origin in the Lviv region.

They take on lease land with an area of 11.4 hectares to service the pig complex and for cultivating grain crops there are 31.5 hectares of arable land.

Building one more lagoon and a boar house are the future plans of EKO MIT, LLC.
