«VK and K» company was founded in 2006 by Valentin Kozyarchuk in Velyka Andrusivka village, Svetlovodsk district of Kirovohrad region. For two years a complete reconstruction of a dairy farm was done, and now it is a modern pig farm «Svitlovodskyi bekon». In 2008 two lots Large White and Landrace purebred pigs of English selection were imported to the farm from «Freedom Farm International», Ltd. and «Zolotonisky», Ltd. «Svetlovodskyi bekon» got the status of a breeding farm in rearing Large White pigs and is working for getting similar status in rearing Landrace pigs.

«Svetlovodskyi bekon» team is working hard to meet the motto of «VK & K» company:
«We are a reliable partner that works for the future».

Pregnant sows are kept in groups with partially heated floor and individual electronic feeding (using Velos equipment). Fattening rooms are not heated— microclimate is under compute control, conveyor fodder is used for feeding. The farm is equipped with a laboratory for dilution and quality analysis of semen, as 100% artificial insemination is used at the farm. To identify heat in time the staff of the farm use heat detectors of Dutch company Nedap.
